Winter is here with a vengeance, lots of students and staff are catching coughs and colds, myself included, I am typing this from my bed. Please advise the school if your child/ren will be away sick. Details for options to report absences below.
Please advise us of any changes to your address or phone number in case of an emergency. It is very distressing for your child if we cannot contact you.
Our Year 5 students are going down to Te Tuhi for Art lessons etc. Sports activities are in full force and Rugby and Netball games are happening each week.
Our Choir and Kapa Haka groups are working hard ready for performances throughout the year. We are very proud of our students, your children, and what they are achieving, both academically, culturally and in the sporting arena.
Last Friday we farewelled Lucy Adamson from our school, she is on Maternity Leave. We wish Lucy and her husband all the very best for the impending birth of their baby very soon. Thank you Lucy for all your hard work at Elm Park School.
Mrs Carina Borcher will be teaching in Room 21 as from this week.
Fa’afetai (Thank You)
Have a lovely weekend

NEW ENROLLMENTS FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2016 AND 2017
Parents wishing to have their children attend Elm Park School must complete an application form for enrolment. If your child turns 5 this coming year or next year and we have yet to receive an enrolment form, please contact the school office for one or click here to download one. If you put your younger child’s name on the bottom of an older sibling form when enrolling, you still need to fill out an enrolment form. The best time to enrol your child is around their 4th birthday. If you know of children in your extended family, street or neighbourhood who are intending to enrol, please could you encourage them to do so early as class numbers fill up quickly.
