Inquiry Learning underpins many aspects of the curriculum. Each year a topic which is related to our roles and responsibilities to the environment, and our global world is selected by staff. This topic is investigated over a set period of time ranging from 1 – 3 terms. It encompasses the use of IT tools, literacy, mathematics, the arts and other relevant curriculum areas. The school has a model of inquiry that it uses to guide the learning and reporting process. Inquiry learning encourages the children to become self-motivated learners who question and find answers. The topics chosen lead our children to discovery.
